  • Installation
service-maint-1.jpgTideland deploys highly experienced teams trained to complete installations in even the most challenging of conditions and locations.

We specialise in shore and port based projects as well as deep sea and offshore installations with projects tailored to the requirements of the exact marine environment as well as specific navigational needs, adhering to strict industry IALA and local Government guidelines for every project we complete. Whether it is a lighthouse installation or offshore rig, we can advise on the navigational aids that are the most suitable and cost effective solution. We are also experienced in the construction and building of a wide variety of marine structures and offshore lighthouses.
  • Contract Maintenance
service-maint-1a.jpgMaintaining any navigational aid is a vital part of marine safety and something we take seriously.

Our dedicated team of engineers provides a cost effective recommended maintenance schedule for each installation; tailored to the requirements of every individual client. Regular, thorough, planned maintenance will result in a lower cost of ownership for our clients’ operations.

A big part of our maintenance and service program is the refurbishment of navigation aids. We also believe in looking after the environment and keeping industrial waste to a minimum. Therefore we prefer to maintain all of the navigation aids we supply and install to ensure they are kept in the best possible condition until such point as they need to be taken out of water and refurbished. Once fully stripped down and restored, our buoys and lanterns are fully tested in accordance with strict IALA guidelines before being re-commissioned for commercial use in water. This does of course mean we are able to pass on cost savings to our customers in avoiding the unnecessary expense of investing in brand new navigation aid installations.
  • Risk Assessment
service-risk-1.jpgSafety is at the very core of our business.

Tideland's risk assessment standards are a large part of keeping a blemish free saftey track record. We have a team of people who are experts at assessing the very real and potential risks for any open sea, port or coastal situation, emergency or otherwise. Part of this service includes a full diagnosis of any potential hazards along with detailed recommendations for actions to be considered to remedy the situation. We are fully equipped and skilled to undertake this work and will ensure that safety standards are adhered to at all times.

We have a team of experienced engineers who are trained to undertake full equipment surveys of any fixed or floating navigation aids. Whether these are sea or shore based, we can deploy experts to assess the condition of any navigation device and provide a full inspection report. The aim of each report is to detail the results of any findings supported by photographic evidence particularly focusing on any areas of concern. Reports include any recommendations that may be deemed necessary, such as repair work, refurbishment, upgrade or replacement, with suggested timelines for implementation in order to sustain safety requirements.
